Green Team Day At The Park: Groundwork Green Teams meet up at the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Park to visit historic sites, help out with park naturalists, meet park rangers, learn how to use a map and a compass, and spend some time adventuring in the beautiful natural setting of the park!

August is Groundwork's month of activities with the Runyon Heights Housing Development. During three wednesdays in August, Groundwork will work with a team of youth from Runyon Heights building, planting, and painting two new vegetable gardens, weeding, and beautifying the Development's green space. Our name has been officially changed to Groundwork Hudson Valley! Though we are based in Yonkers, and committed to working in the Yonkers community, we have changed our name to accommodate our exanding program area.
