Groundwork's Global Network

Groundwork Hudson Valley is part of a national and global network of Groundwork organizations, called "Trusts." The network continues to grow as more Groundwork Trusts are created in towns, cities, and regions around the globe. In the United States, the national government acts as a catalyst for this growth. Click the links below to learn more about our partners nationwide and globally:

Groundwork International: This lists our global partners (Japan, EU, etc.) and activities, beginning with Groundwork United Kingdom (UK), home of the original Trusts. It also describes the new, coalition-based initiatives in the developing world.

Groundwork USA: This is the national umbrella organization for the Groundwork Trusts in the United States, and consists of the ever-expanding list of Groundwork Trusts. Groundwork Hudson Valley is honored that Rick Magder, our Executive Director, is the Board Chair of Groundwork USA.

US Environmental Protection Agency: The EPA is the national government agency that provides: environmental technical support; seed money to cities to set-up new US Groundwork trusts; and, ongoing grants for Groundwork environmental projects.

US National Parks Service - Rivers & Trails: The NPS Rivers & Trails program is the national government agency that provides indispensible administrative support and guidance to the Groundwork Trusts in the United States.
